Holland Water Challenge - Inspiring Future Water Leaders
The Holland Water Challenge is a competition that invites the next generation water leaders to take an active role in developing innovative and sustainable solutions to real-life delta and water problems.
In a unique way, the Holland Water Challenge connects young local talent with experts from private sector, academia and government. For young talent, the challenge is a great chance to learn from international professionals and work on real-life challenges. For professionals, the program offers an attractive opportunity to invite out-of-the-box ideas, scout talent and strengthen their company brand.
The Holland Water Challenge has developed as a flagship platform for the Dutch water sector in several countries, such as Myanmar, Indonesia, China, Singapore and Australia, bringing together Dutch and local water professionals and expertise.
Since the Holland Water Challenge was founded in 2010 by Gregor van Essen, hundreds of students and young professionals participated in the program, supported by experts from more than 50 private companies and government organisations.
